Job Details
- Responsible for supporting senior management finance personnel with daily accounting processes
- Responsible for analyzing and managing spend against daily and weekly budgets
- Executes general ledger account reconciliations and accurate reporting for plant inventory including both raw materials and finished goods.
- Generate ad hoc reporting for plant accounting
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Purchasing on PO management to monitors production spend
- Create labor reports to monitor daily and weekly spend. Utilize reports to identify trends and assist with corrective actions and improvements.
- Support timely quarterly and year end physical inventory and reconciliations
- Work closely with Plant Controller to maintain product costs and bill of materials
- Responsible for creating and analyzing reports to assist and month and close processes
- Work closely with vendors to resolve issues with payment and invoicing
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred
- 3+ years of Accounting experience supporting a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with MS Office Suite, Lawson, QuickBooks, or other financial software
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
