Job Details

We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join our manufacturing industry team. The ideal candidate must have a CPA license and at least 5 years of experience in accounting. The role will require managing accounting processes, preparing monthly financial statements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-of-month close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparing monthly
financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and company policies
  • Manage the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, WIP, cost of sales, and revenue
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Provide financial analysis and support to the Controller and executive team
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
  • Assist with audits and tax filings
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff

Qualifications:
  • CPA license required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP standards and accounting principles
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software
  • Experience managing accounting staff is a plus
