Assistant Controller

We are a premier agriculture firm with headquarters in Santa Monica and accounting operations based in Irvine. Following significant growth through multiple acquisitions, we are enhancing our financial infrastructure under the guidance of our newly appointed Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller.

Key qualifications for this position include accurate preparation and analysis of financial statements, proficiency in establishing and maintaining internal controls, chart of accounts design and management, and a strong understanding of financial regulatory compliance in agriculture or manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller to establish and manage internal controls and develop the chart of accounts.
Experience Required: Background in Produce or Manufacturing, with a preference for candidates with Big 4 experience.
Education: MBA preferred; CPA is an advantage but not required.
Growth Potential: Initially focus on internal controls with the opportunity to oversee Accounts Receivable and potential advancement to Corporate Controller.
