Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Controller to join our dynamic Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controller, cost accounting, senior accounting, and month-end close, as well as experience in bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, audit, SAGE, NetSuite, Excel, manufacturing, and e-commerce.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial operations of the division, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all tasks
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
Manage the division's cash flow and ensure adequate funding for operations
Provide financial analysis and support for strategic decision making
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CMA certification preferred
5+ years of experience in controller, cost accounting, senior accounting, and month-end close
Experience in bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, audit, SAGE, Excel, manufacturing, and agriculture
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
