Job Details

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Assistant Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in accounting and/or finance, with a strong analytical mindset and proven leadership capabilities. Experience in manufacturing or food production environments is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret complex financial data to support decision-making

Review monthly financial statements and prepare summary reports for leadership

Assist in the preparation, management, and analysis of the company’s annual budget

Coordinate and support external audits and corporate tax preparation

Lead, mentor, and support finance team members in their day-to-day responsibilities

Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams in a positive and proactive manner

Ensure accurate and timely responses to financial institutions, vendors, and customer inquiries

Prepare and deliver management reports as requested by leadership or stakeholders

Provide guidance to staff on accounting procedures, compliance, and system usage

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance roles

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in financial reporting tools and ERP systems

Manufacturing industry experience is a strong plus
