Job Details
What You'll Do
Assist the Controller in overseeing all aspects of the general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to drive financial accuracy and process improvements
Help manage and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Serve as a key liaison during audits and work closely with external auditors
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with supervisory or leadership exposure
Background in manufacturing or distribution industry strongly preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar); strong Excel skills
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Strong communicator with the ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders
