Job Details
Our medical facility is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation departments. This is a shared weekend call position that requires a registered nurse with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation departments
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
- Manage and mentor nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and community partners
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Ensure that all nursing staff adhere to ethical and professional standards
- Provide support to the Director of Nursing as needed
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with a current license
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed
