Job Details

Our medical facility is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation departments. This is a shared weekend call position that requires a registered nurse with supervisory experience.

Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday
  • Shared Weekend Call

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation departments
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Manage and mentor nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and community partners
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Ensure that all nursing staff adhere to ethical and professional standards
  • Provide support to the Director of Nursing as needed

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with a current license
  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation
  • Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed
