Job Details

Primary Responsibilities
  • Supervises and coaches the development and prioritization of activities of a professional accounting and financial staff.
  • Actively participates in establishing, executing and reporting progress against both tactical and strategic direction for the operation including financial and non-financial metrics.
  • Develops monthly forecast and prepares annual operating plan for location.
  • Provides financial direction, analysis and alternative for marketing on setting prices and driving the richest product mix for the location.
  • Maintain financial and cost control systems to provide accurate and timely information.
  • Develop BU-wide analytical tools for decision support – accountable for ROC Database and progression.

Basic qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in Business concentration in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
  • 7+ years' experience in the finance function of a publicly traded corporation in increasingly responsible leadership roles.
  • Manufacturing & cost accounting experience
  • Experience directly supervising others
  • Leadership of plant-wide process improvements (e.g. inventory reductions, forecast accuracy improvement, cost reductions).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA a plus
  • More than five years of Finance/Accounting Experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral form
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter
  • Experience with querying databases
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience with cost accounting
