We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Assistant Plant Controller to join our dynamic Manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled finance professional to contribute to our company's financial health, helping to shape strategic decisions and maintain our strong financial position. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial analysis, cost accounting, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, business analysis, process improvement, financial planning, internal controls, cost management, and inventory reconciliation. This role is also responsible for maintaining compliance with IATF 1699 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 and maintaining the general ledger. Experience with SAP and AS400 is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, assess performance, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
3. Drive cost management initiatives and implement cost-saving measures.
4. Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
5. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards.
6. Perform inventory reconciliation and manage inventory accounting.
7. Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
8. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
9. Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide business analysis and support strategic decision making.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, cost accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
4. Solid understanding of business analysis, process improvement, financial planning, internal controls, cost management, and inventory reconciliation.
5. Proven experience in maintaining compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001.
6. Proficiency in maintaining a general ledger.
7. Experience with SAP and AS400 is a plus.
8. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
9. Strong communication and presentation skills.
10. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
11. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
12. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
