We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and dynamic individual to fill the role of Assistant Plant Manager. This role is integral to our operations and requires a candidate with a strong background in manufacturing, particularly in plastics, thermoforming, or metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in applying lean six sigma principles, managing ERP/MRP systems, overseeing cost centers, and delivering on KPI's. The ability to drive continuous improvement through Kaizen methodologies is a plus for this role.

As the Assistant Plant Manager, you will play a key role in managing daily operations and supporting the Plant Manager in achieving operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the management and supervision of plant operations including production, quality, and maintenance.
• Implementing and maintaining lean six sigma principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Managing ERP/MRP systems to ensure smooth operations and accurate inventory management.
• Overseeing cost centers and ensuring operations stay within budget.
• Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on KPI's to drive performance and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining IOS 9001 standards.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement through the application of Kaizen methodologies.
• Collaborating with the Plant Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong knowledge and experience in lean six sigma methodologies, with a proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
• Proficiency in utilizing ERP/MRP systems for production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Experience managing a cost center and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to track and analyze KPIs to measure performance and drive improvements.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical and effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
