Job Details
We’re looking for an energetic, detail-driven Assistant Project Manager to join our growing project management team. In this role, you’ll help bring high-voltage infrastructure projects to life, from transmission and distribution to substations and BESS installations. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager to keep budgets, timelines, and scope on track, while ensuring safety and quality every step of the way. Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager through every phase of the project, from kickoff to closeout
- Organize and track project tasks, deliverables, and milestones to ensure everything aligns with established standards and specs
- Monitor progress, flag issues early, and deliver detailed updates on schedule and performance metrics
- Partner with design, engineering, and QA teams to keep work moving smoothly and efficiently
- Promote and enforce safety standards, building a culture where safety comes first
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with team members, offering support, identifying obstacles, and driving improvements
- Assist with risk management, problem-solving, and escalation when needed
- Help prepare proposals, schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Participate in meetings and calls to keep stakeholders aligned

Preferred Experience/ Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field , or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry, high-voltage industry background preferred
- Hands-on experience with transmission, distribution, substation, or BESS projects- strongly preferred
- Proficiency with construction management software; familiarity with project management tools a plus
- Strong working knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and safety codes
