We are actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Permanent Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on working in a fast-paced, challenging environment, managing various projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, management, erector, architectural, glass, and metal work. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will:

• Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring all project goals are met within the allocated budget and timeline.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, ensuring all design and construction aspects are aligned with the project's specifications.

• Supervise the work of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring the quality of work meets the project's standards and complies with safety regulations.

• Conduct regular site inspections and assessments, monitoring the progress of the project and identifying any potential issues or delays.

• Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, including budget updates, project timeline, and progress reports.

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the provision of materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the budget.

• Resolve any project-related issues or disputes, ensuring smooth project execution.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry.

• Proven experience in managing construction projects involving erector, architectural, glass, and metal work.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve project-related issues effectively and efficiently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
