Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Assisting the Project Manager in planning and executing projects within the finance sector, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Tracking submittals and managing project files to ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
3. Creating and tracking meeting minutes, ensuring all action points are followed up and completed.
4. Coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
5. Proactively identifying potential project risks and working with the Project Manager to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
6. Liaising with clients, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring client satisfaction.
7. Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Project Manager position will have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry.
3. Proven experience in tracking submittals, managing project files, and creating and tracking meeting minutes.
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
8. A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
