Job Details
We are seeking an Assistant Sales Representative to join our team! As an Assistant Sales Representative you will partner with a seasoned sales representative in an effort to develop and maintain a portfolio of customers.
Job responsibilities of an Assistant Sales Representative include, but are not limited to:
· Assisting the Senior Sales Representative with lead generation using all available methods of lead development including electronic inquiries, telephonic inquiries and traditional door-to-door canvassing.
· Attending networking events, trade shows and business development meetings.
· Participating in roof evaluations and maintenance inspections in furtherance of client goals and desires.
· Assisting in the preparation of client project technical data for submission to the Company’s Estimating Department for pricing.
· Assisting in the preparation of sales deliverables for client requested quotations and attending sales presentations for clients.
Qualifications:
· Excellent communications skills
· Must be organized and detail oriented
· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
· Basic knowledge of Customer Relationship Management platforms such as Salesforce
· Ability to carry and set-up a ladder for accessing client properties
· Ability to work at height (i.e. on a roof)
· Knowledge of commercial roofing, or basic experience in sales, is a plus
