Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising on-site functions including, but not limited to, scheduling, engineering, material control, and day-to-day direction of field activities.
2. Ensure all construction work is carried out in line with the company's standards, contractual agreements, and project plans.
3. Coordinate and interface with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Schedule, coordinate, and supervise craft employee activities. May involve supervising one or more trade groups.
5. Monitor and ensure quality control for all work performed, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds the standards set forth by the company and regulatory authorities.
6. Actively promote and enforce a safe job site and maintain a culture of safety awareness within the entire project team.
7. Assist in the resolution of construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required.
8. Prepare and maintain records of material and labor costs, among other field reports.
9. Participate in the preparation of construction schedule, reports and budget.
10, Assist with project lay outs.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial and building construction.
3. Proven ability to supervise, direct, and lead field personnel.
4. Strong understanding of construction methods, safety law, and regulations.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively use them to coordinate and liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Proficient in using construction software programs and technology.
7. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a demonstrated ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions when necessary.
8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
