We are seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent with a background building multifamily projects to join our team on a permanent basis. As an Assistant Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multifamily construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure that all aspects of the project are executed smoothly and efficiently, from pre-construction to close-out.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of multifamily construction projects, including garden style, wood frame, and podium construction for

market rate apartments

• Assist the Superintendent in creating and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and punch lists
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the required quality

standards

• Manage MEP systems and ensure that they are installed and functioning properly
• Utilize Procore to manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure that all work is being performed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations
• Work closely with the Superintendent to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
• Assist with the preparation of project close-out documents, including warranties, as-built drawings, and operation and maintenance

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in multifamily construction as an Assistant Superintendent or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of garden style, wood frame, and podium construction for market rate apartments
• Experience managing MEP systems and coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Proficiency in using Procore for project management and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges
• A commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred, but not required
