Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your day-to-day tasks will include:
1. Conducting legal research and analysis on various complex legal issues pertaining to first-party property and property damage cases.
2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure the best interests of the client.
3. Representing clients in civil litigation cases, presenting evidence, and arguing cases in court.
4. Providing legal advice to clients on their rights and obligations, ensuring legal compliance at all times.
5. Assisting in the preparation of case strategies and legal theories.
6. Collaborating with senior attorneys and partners to manage caseloads, deadlines, and deliver high-quality legal services.
7. Participating in continuing legal education programs to stay updated on changes in laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Active membership in the Florida Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Litigation Attorney with a focus on first-party property and property damage cases.
4. Proven experience in drafting and negotiating legal documents and contracts.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve conflicts and disputes.
7. Extensive knowledge of legal compliance and corporate governance.
8. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court officials.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
