Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Handle a variety of First Party Property and Insurance Defense cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on various legal issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
  • Provide sound legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their rights and interests are adequately protected.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of effective legal strategies to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be an active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Litigation Attorney, with a focus on First Party Property and Insurance Defense.
  • Proven experience in Property Damage and Civil Litigation.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex legal issues effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide top-quality legal assistance, advice, and support to clients.
  • Familiarity with legal compliance and corporate governance.
