We're partnered with a leading California full-service law firm that is recruiting for a highly skilled transactional attorney with affordable housing and low-income housing tax credits experience to join their dynamic real estate practice in Irvine. Remote candidates admitted to the California bar will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure and negotiate joint venture agreements, with particular emphasis on low-income housing tax credit transactions
  • Serve as lead advisor to affordable housing developers navigating various debt and equity financing sources
  • Provide strategic guidance on tax-efficient structuring for real estate projects and optimal use of tax credits and incentives
  • Ensure ongoing LIHTC compliance and navigate complex regulatory frameworks
  • Deliver practical, solution-oriented counsel directly to clients while identifying and mitigating tax-related risks
  • Draft comprehensive joint venture agreements on behalf of developers across diverse real estate projects

We're seeking an attorney with 4+ years of experience in affordable housing transactions and a demonstrated ability of providing strategic counsel on complex LIHTC projects. A portable book business is ideal but not required.
