We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies for cases in various practice areas.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation cases, from inception through trial and appeal.
• Conduct trials, hearings, and motions in state and federal courts.
• Present compelling arguments and provide clear legal analysis in the courtroom.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case developments.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and expectations.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Negotiate favorable settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
• Analyze complex legal and factual issues to provide well-reasoned legal opinions.
• Assess potential risks and benefits of litigation actions.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and legal staff.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
• Excellent academics
• 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus in either of the following areas preferred: insurance defense, professional liability, complex torts, transportation/logistics, products liability, and general business litigation.
• Proven courtroom trial experience.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
