We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our high-performing team. As a member of our litigation department, you will manage all aspects of commercial litigation. This role demands a strong understanding of commercial law, excellent negotiation skills, and a natural knack for problem-solving. Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of commercial litigation cases from inception through conclusion, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and court appearances.
  • Represent clients in a wide range of commercial disputes.
  • Conduct research and legal analysis to develop case strategies and legal theories.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in dealing with clients, colleagues, and courts.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
  • At least 3+ years of commercial litigation experience.
  • Strong experience in motion practice, depositions, and oral arguments.
  • Excellent analytical, research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong client service skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively in solving complex legal issues.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes favorably.
  • Must have a high level of initiative and self-motivation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
