Job Details

We are seeking a lateral Associate with a focus on Commercial Litigation to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a team of accomplished attorneys and contribute to complex, high-stakes litigation cases that shape the business landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage aspects of commercial litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing motions, and participating in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial prep.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to identify relevant laws, precedents, and regulations applicable to assigned cases.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, providing clear and comprehensive interpretations of complex legal concepts and potential outcomes.
  • Develop effective litigation strategies that align with client objectives, considering potential risks and rewards.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting commercial litigation, applying this knowledge to client cases and firm operations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards, adhering to all rules of professional conduct.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state, and in good standing with the state bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably commercial
