Our 15-attorney litigation department handles multi-million-dollar commercial disputes, real estate litigation, construction matters, and land use cases. You'll work on interesting, high-profile matters while maintaining approximately 1,800 billable hours annually.
You'll report directly to the head of the litigation department and collaborate closely with experienced trial attorneys who provide genuine mentorship. Job Details
Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the New York State Bar
2-4 years of litigation experience (commercial litigation preferred; other litigation backgrounds will be considered)
Demonstrated e-discovery experience and familiarity with standard platforms
Motion writing experience
Prior court appearance experience
Strong legal research and writing abilities
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Must be a Long Island resident or willing to relocate - this is a full-time, on-site position and lengthy commutes have proven unsustainable for prior candidates
