The successful candidate will have a strong background in reviewing contracts and will be adept at navigating the complexities of commercial real estate law. Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate contracts, including leases, purchase and sale agreements, and development agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research to provide guidance on complex commercial real estate matters.
- Represent clients in real estate transactions and disputes, including negotiation, drafting, and litigation.
- Advise clients on legal risks and opportunities related to their commercial real estate holdings.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting commercial real estate.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their legal needs are met and exceeded.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an attorney with a focus on commercial real estate.
- Proven experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial real estate contracts.
- Exceptional legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
- High level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment.
