Our client is a 40 attorney defense litigation firm that is looking to hire a new associate for their New York Labor Law defense division.

This role can be worked on a hybrid basis with 2-3 days working from home weekly.

Our client is a well-established litigation firm based in Manhattan with a strong reputation in defending high-stakes matters in construction and labor law. They represent developers, general contractors, and property owners in complex New York Labor Law (Sections 200, 240(1), and 241(6)) cases, as well as general liability and insurance defense matters.

Job Details

We’re seeking a litigation associate with 3–7 years of experience focused on New York Labor Law defense, particularly in construction accident cases.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong knowledge of NY Labor Law 200, 240(1), and 241(6)
  • Experience drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing
