Job Details
Job Description:
* Represent clients in construction and construction defect claims, managing cases from inception through trial or settlement
* Provide risk management advice and strategic legal guidance throughout construction projects
* Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents with precision and clarity
* Conduct complex legal research and analysis on construction and construction defect matters
* Collaborate with experts, consultants, and other professionals to develop strong case strategies
* Communicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction
* Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings
* Mentor and support junior attorneys in research, case preparation, and trial strategy
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Active membership in the Texas Bar, in good standing
* 2+ years of litigation experience; prior construction or construction defect litigation experience strongly preferred
* Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
* Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team
* Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skills
