We seek a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Corporate Law to join our dynamic legal team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional with a solid corporate law foundation, focusing on energy, infrastructure, transactional law, and complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, banking, credit, capital markets, private funds, renewable energy, and utilities.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will:
1. Provide legal advice to clients on various corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, banking and credit, capital markets, private funds, and complex transactions.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements and documents related to energy, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects.
3. Advise on legal and regulatory developments impacting the energy and utilities industry.
4. Participate in the structuring, drafting, and negotiating of corporate and transactional matters.
5. Conduct due diligence investigations and prepare necessary reports.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to provide superior client service.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the State Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of corporate law experience, focusing on energy, infrastructure, transactional law, and complex transactions.
4. Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions, banking and credit, capital markets, private funds, renewable energy, and utilities.
5. Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape in the energy and utilities industry.
6. Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and relationships.
8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
9. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
