A bit about us:

We are seeking a Bankruptcy Associate for our satellite AZ office, fully familiar with Motions for Relief from Automatic Stay, Objections to Confirmation, plan reviews, proofs of claim, as well as related litigation matters and local procedures before the Arizona bankruptcy court. Candidate should have minimum of 4 years bankruptcy experience. Familiarity with AZ foreclosure or replevin processes is a plus. Salary negotiable and based upon years of experience, with year-end bonus possible based upon individual and firm performance.

Job Details

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Arizona bankruptcy laws and procedures, be committed to upholding the highest standards of legal practice, and possess a keen ability to navigate complex financial situations.

Responsibilities:

Handle bankruptcy matters, including Chapters 7, 11, and 13, with a focus on creditor representation.
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to bankruptcy proceedings.
Represent clients in hearings, trials, and negotiations.
Advise financial institutions on compliance and regulatory issues.
Manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Requirements:

J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
3+ years of experience in bankruptcy law, with a focus on creditors' rights.
