Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel and representation to clients in various family law matters including but not limited to divorce, custody disputes, child support, alimony, and property division.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal correspondence.
  • Conduct thorough case analysis and develop effective case strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in family law and advise clients accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure excellent client service.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
  • Contribute to the firm's business development efforts by networking, building relationships with potential clients, and participating in community and professional organizations.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in family law with a focus on divorce and custody cases.
  • Strong understanding of family law and court procedures.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Proven track record of effectively representing clients in court and achieving successful outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes in a favorable manner for clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
  • Strong commitment to client service and to upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
