Our prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in construction defect law experience, civil defense litigation, general liability defense litigation, professional liability defense, insurance defense, and trial experience. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, compose legal documents, and advise clients on legal matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure the best possible outcome for clients
• Prepare and present cases in court, including trials, hearings, and depositions
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and draft settlement agreements
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
• Attend mediations, arbitrations, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings
• Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing
• 2+ years of experience in construction defect law experience, civil defense litigation, general liability defense litigation, professional liability defense, insurance defense, and trial experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
