Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on healthcare-related cases
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Represent clients in court and at depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
  • Conduct witness interviews and prepare witnesses for trial
  • Provide legal advice to healthcare providers and facilities on risk management and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on case strategy and management
  • Attend industry conferences and seminars to stay up-to-date on healthcare laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar in good standing
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare litigation, medical malpractice defense, and long-term care defense
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel for depositions, trials, and client meetings
