Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

1. Providing legal counsel to clients regarding insurance coverage matters, including policy interpretation, claim handling, and dispute resolution.
2. Assisting with a caseload of complex insurance coverage cases, and litigation claims.
3. Conducting thorough and analytical research to support legal proceedings and to provide strategic advice to clients.
4. Representing clients in litigation, mediation, and negotiations.
5. Analyzing and reviewing insurance policies and related documents.
6. Staying updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance coverage, and other areas of law.
7. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Job Details

To be considered for an Associate Attorney position, you should possess the following

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 4-8 years of experience in litigation and/or insurance coverage.
3. Admission to WA State Bar. Admission to Oregon State Bar, a plus.
4. Exceptional analytical and research skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. High level of professionalism.
