The firm handles general liability, professional liability, labor and employment, business, and defense litigation. This position will strictly focus within general and professional liability. They are seeking an associate with experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Provide legal advice and representation to clients on matters related to general liability, professional liability, and insurance defense.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop strategies for defending clients against claims and lawsuits.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for court filings.
- Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and requests for production of documents.
- Prepare witnesses for depositions and trial testimony.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials to represent clients.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters.
- Manage a caseload and work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff to provide exceptional legal services to clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- 2+ years of experience in general liability, professional liability, and insurance defense.
- Trial experience preferred.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload and work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to providing exceptional legal services to clients.
