Job Details

As an Associate Attorney candidates will be responsible for handling a wide range of cases related to insurance coverage litigation. You will work closely with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to provide expert legal advice and representation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of first-party and third-party coverage insurance cases
  • Draft coverage opinions and provide legal advice to clients
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
  • 3+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation, with a focus on first-party and third-party cases
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies and coverage issues
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Experience drafting coverage opinions and handling litigation from start to finish
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with judgment lawsuits is a plus
