The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling complex civil litigation cases, with a particular emphasis on wrongful death. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a full caseload of civil litigation matters, primarily focusing on wrongful death cases. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Representing clients in court and arguing motions.
2. Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
3. Negotiating settlements for legal disputes.
4. Complying with all legal standards and regulations.
5. Performing administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
6. Engaging in business development activities to attract new clients.
7. Collaborating with our team of attorneys and paralegals to develop strategies for handling cases effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Permanent Associate Attorney, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a particular focus on wrongful death cases.
3. Current license to practice law in the state.
