Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

We are representing a national law firm that focuses on business and commercial law in complex litigation and sophisticated transactional and corporate matters! They are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join their team in Florida.

We are seeking a Defense Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of insurance defense experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload from pre-suit through arbitration/trial, including depositions, discovery, trial pleadings, and court appearances.
• Handle trial and arbitration matters with confidence and tenacity.
• Familiarity with Florida and Federal rules of civil procedure, e-filing, and court deadlines.
• Employ creative defense strategies to advocate for our clients.
• Engage directly with clients, offering strategic advice on business matters.
• Deliver seminars to clients as needed.
• Review and evaluate medical records in litigation matters.
• Maintain an organized, detail-oriented approach while handling a high volume of cases.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of insurance defense experience.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Bar rules and Federal rules of civil procedure.
• Admission to the Florida Bar (Required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Westlaw, and/or Lexis.
