Job Details

Job Description:
  •  Analyze insurance policies to determine the scope of coverage and advise clients on potential claims and recovery options
  •  Investigate and gather evidence to support claims and assess the extent of losses or damages
  •  Develop legal strategies and tactics to negotiate settlements, pursue alternative dispute resolution, or litigate cases in court
  •  Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
  •  Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs to support claims and defend against insurer's arguments
  •  Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters, defense counsel, and other parties involved in the case
  •  Manage the discovery process, including preparing and responding to written discovery, conducting depositions, and retaining expert witnesses
  •  Advise clients on legal and procedural issues related to insurance recovery litigation

Job Qualifications:
  •  4+ years of litigation experience (Insurance related preferred)
  •  Ability to analyze complex issues, and develop creative solutions and effectively communicate their analysis and arguments both orally and in writing
  •  Licensed with the OR State Board or willingness to take the Oregon bar exam

Writing sample, 3 references and law school transcripts will be required.
