Associate Attorney - Labor and Employment

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment law and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on labor and employment law matters
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies
• Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment law issues
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings
• Manage discovery and document production in litigation matters
• Defend clients against claims of wrongful termination and workers compensation claims
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Stay up-to-date on changes in labor and employment law and provide guidance to clients accordingly

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar
• 2+ years of experience in labor and employment law
• Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, wrongful termination, workers compensation defense, discovery, mediations, advising, legal research, and drafting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
