Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in Labor & Employment. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to a wide range of labor and employment matters. The successful candidate will have a strong background in litigation, public entity labor and employment, class action, PAGA, harassment, and wrongful termination cases. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality legal services and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities
Oversee cases from pleadings to trial
Conduct discovery, law & motion including court appearances
Work closely with associates and partners across practice areas
Grow the firm with business development support
Legal Research and Analysis, statutes, regulations, and case law to advise clients and prepare for hearings and trials
Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, provide updates, and address their concerns
Close contact & collaboration with clients
Participate in business development activities, such as networking events and client meetings, to build and maintain client relationships.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Licensure: Admission to the California bar and in good standing
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills are essential
2-7 years of General Employment law experience
Strong client advocacy and relationship-building skills
Ability to identify and resolve legal problems effectively
Time management skills are crucial for managing multiple cases and meeting deadlines
Entrepreneurial mindset demonstrating eventual partnership potential
