We are currently seeking a driven and dynamic Permanent Associate Attorney with a focus on Labor & Employment. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our legal team, providing comprehensive legal services and advice to our clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a broad range of labor and employment issues, providing strategic legal counsel and litigation services to our clients. You will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload and will have the opportunity to work on challenging and complex legal issues.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse range of labor and employment matters, including but not limited to wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims.
2. Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on all aspects of labor and employment law.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and other employment-related documents.
4. Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative hearings.
5. Conduct thorough and efficient legal research and analysis.
6. Maintain current knowledge of changes and developments in labor and employment law.
7. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
8. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to protect the interests of our clients.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
3. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
4. Strong litigation experience with a proven track record of success.
5. Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work effectively under pressure.
7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
8. Strong commitment to ethical legal practice and professional development.
9. Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal counsel and representation to clients on complex labor and employment issues.
10. Proficiency in using legal research tools and technology.
