Our firm is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving legal team and work on high-profile transactions in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our M&A team, working closely with partners and clients on a wide range of complex transactions. This includes M&A, private equity, energy, infrastructure, and Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Responsibilities:
1. Play a key role in M&A, private equity, and IPO transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating related documentation.
2. Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
3. Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide tailored legal solutions.
4. Conduct thorough due diligence on potential M&A targets and private equity investments.
5. Coordinate and manage cross-border transactions.
6. Stay updated with the latest developments in the M&A, private equity, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
7. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
8. Participate in business development activities, such as client presentations and seminars.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent from an accredited law school is required. An additional LLM degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&A, private equity, energy, infrastructure, and IPO matters.
3. Admitted to practice law and in good standing with a state bar.
4. Demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documents.
5. Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
8. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
