Plaintiff's personal injury firm - NO litigation work. We are looking for someone who has strong people skills, is very organized and detail oriented, is a self-starter, is able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Junior Level candidates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in personal injury cases, including car accidents, workplace injuries, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
  • Conduct thorough case assessments to identify potential legal issues and develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborate with legal staff to collect, analyze, and present evidence in support of clients’ claims.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records.
  • Stay informed about current legislation, court decisions, and industry trends that may affect clients’ cases.
  • Provide exceptional client service, including prompt communication and empathetic counsel.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing..
  • Proven skills in legal writing, negotiation, legal advice, legal discovery, legal compliance, and legal assistance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases and software.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced legal environment.
