Our esteemed law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Plaintiff Personal Injury. This is an onsite position that requires a dynamic individual who is prepared to handle a variety of responsibilities. You will be working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where your skills in litigation, legal research, legal writing, and personal injury will be put to use on a daily basis. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field.
Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney - Plaintiff Personal Injury, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases, advocating for their rights and best interests with diligence and integrity.
2. Handling all phases of litigation, from the initial consultation and investigation through trial, settlement negotiations, and post-judgment proceedings.
3. Conducting thorough legal research to build strong cases and identify appropriate legal strategies.
4. Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in a manner that maximizes their compensation.
6. Collaborating with legal staff and other attorneys to ensure a seamless client experience and the highest quality legal representation.
7. Staying updated on current laws and regulations related to personal injury law, and continually seeking to expand legal knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate Attorney - Plaintiff Personal Injury position should have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active and in good standing membership in the Florida state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a proven track record of success.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients and secure favorable settlements.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
