Get ready to embark on a thrilling journey of legal challenges and victories as a Associate Attorney in our esteemed law firm. We specialize in Personal Injury Defense, Product Liability, and Transportation. This role is a unique opportunity for a seasoned attorney to utilize their expertise in Litigation, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury Defense, Product Liability, Transportation, Personal Injury, and Commercial law. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in these areas and will be ready to dive into a fast-paced, dynamic environment that values teamwork, strategic thinking, and excellence in client service.

Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney, you will be entrusted with a multitude of responsibilities that will challenge your skills and knowledge. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Representing clients in court and defend clients.
  • Selecting jurors, arguing motions, meeting with judges, and questioning witnesses during the course of a trial.
  • Studying and interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Presenting and summarizing cases to judges and juries.
  • Preparing legal briefs and opinions, and filing appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.
  • Analyzing the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
  • Evaluating findings and developing strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
  • Advising clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
  • Gathering evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in the state and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Litigation, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury Defense, Product Liability, Transportation, Personal Injury, and Commercial law.
  • Proven background in the successful handling of substantive legal matters such as hearings, trials, deposition, mediations, and arbitration.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
  • Ability to handle a large caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
