Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in developing comprehensive estate plans, including the creation of wills, trusts, and advance directives.
  • Provide legal advice on tax implications and asset protection strategies.
  • Guide clients through the probate process and administer trusts and estates.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and goals.
  • Provide clear and concise legal advice on trust and estate matters.
  • Prepare and review legal documents related to trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and other estate planning instruments.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all legal documents.
  • Represent clients in probate court proceedings.
  • Handle contested matters related to trusts and estates.
  • Stay in the know of changes in trust and estate laws and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and legal principles.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in New Jersey
  • 3 years of experience in Trust and Estate law.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with trust and estate planning software/tools.
  • Prior experience in a law firm specializing in Trust and Estate law.
