We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Workers Compensation Associate Attorney to join our prestigious law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a solid legal background to take on challenging and diverse legal assignments. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and provide legal advice.
2. Preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
3. Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments.
4. Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
5. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations, as well as potential risks and outcomes.
6. Negotiating settlements in civil disputes.
7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and legal trends.
8. Ensuring all legal activities adhere to compliance and ethical standards.
9. Participating in business development activities to attract new clients.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Associate Attorney position, you must have:
1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an attorney in a law firm
4. Proven experience in conducting extensive legal research and analysis.
5. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to handle adversarial situations with tact and diplomacy.
6. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
8. Familiarity with legal software and advanced proficiency in MS Office.
9. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
