- Manage all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, arguing motions, and trial work.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents related to personal injury, construction defect, and product liability.
- Conduct thorough case investigations, legal research, and analysis.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients and ensure that clients receive the highest quality service.
- Represent the interests of the client in court and before quasi-judicial or administrative agencies of government.
- Work closely with other attorneys on legal projects.
- Manage client relationships and handle cases from initial consultation through resolution.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar of Texas.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on litigation, specifically personal injury, construction defect, and product liability.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and courts.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal solutions.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
