Are you a seasoned Associate Attorney with a passion for the legal industry? We are seeking an individual with a strong background in various fields of law to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including trial, litigation, charter school law, education law, special education law, workers compensation defense, business law, and corporate law. Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney, you will be expected to:

1. Handle all aspects of the litigation process including the investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, settlements, and trial.
2. Provide legal advice and representation to charter schools and other educational institutions on a variety of legal issues.
3. Advise on special education law matters, including compliance with federal and state regulations.
4. Represent employers in workers compensation defense cases.
5. Provide legal advice to businesses on a variety of issues, including contracts, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
6. Assist with corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities.
7. Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
8. Maintain a high degree of professionalism and adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Associate Attorney position should have:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in trial, litigation, charter school law, education law, special education law, workers compensation defense, business law, and corporate law.
4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficient in legal research and writing.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
