Job Details
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
At least 2 years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Attorney, with a focus on Defense Base Act cases.
Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the State Bar.
Strong knowledge of the Defense Base Act, the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act, the War Hazards Compensation Act, and the Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
Proven track record of successful defenses in Defense Base Act cases.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
