Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of litigation, from case evaluation and strategy through trial or settlement
  • Draft dispositive motions and legal memoranda
  • Handle written discovery and depositions (both taking and defending)
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and settlement negotiations
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop legal strategies
  • Maintain and grow relationships with clients and referral sources
  • Contribute to business development and marketing efforts within the firm

Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of litigation experience
  • Admitted to practice in Illinois; dual licensure in Indiana or Wisconsin is a plus
  • Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
  • Demonstrated experience with depositions, motions, and courtroom appearances
  • Trial or appellate experience is a plus
  • Excellent academic credentials and professional demeanor
