Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in the manufacturing industry. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support and counsel to our organization. This is a permanent position that offers excellent growth opportunities and a chance to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis related to domestic relations and criminal law matters. Stay updated with the latest legal developments and precedents to provide accurate and timely advice to the organization.

2. Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload involving domestic relations and criminal law matters. Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts. Represent the organization in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediations.

3. Client Counseling: Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their rights and interests are protected. Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and develop effective legal strategies to achieve them.

4. Compliance and Risk Management: Assist in developing and implementing compliance programs to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate them.

5. Contract Review and Negotiation: Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the organization's interests. Identify potential risks and propose modifications or alternative terms to minimize liabilities.

6. Legal Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, operations, and finance, to provide legal guidance and support on various matters, such as employment issues, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

2. Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

3. Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on domestic relations and criminal law. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.

4. Strong knowledge of domestic relations and criminal law, including relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.

5. Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate legal concepts clearly and concisely.

7. Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

8. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in various legal proceedings.

9. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

10. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

11. Proficiency in legal research tools and technology, including LexisNexis, Westlaw, and Microsoft Office Suite.

12. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and confidentiality.
